Oh my, what can I say about Claire? I have to be especially nice as she is my website developer and build/runs this whole online Ms Moo ship, but I will be especially nice anyway because she's one of my besties. Claire was one of the first people I met in Nottingham when I moved here nearly 20 years ago. She's probably the person I've done makeup on the most, other than my own face! When at my birthday last year I albeit drunkly said I didn’t want to do makeup for weddings where I was attending the whole day anymore (it’s tiring to work and then attend physically and mentally after), the colour drained from her face as she was just about to get engaged!
I backtracked HARD as there was never really any doubt that I wouldn’t do her wedding makeup, when her face and friendship is the reason I really started doing makeup back in 2007! Here's a relatively 'newer' shoot for us from 2014 - yanno, only eleven years ago!
When did you get engaged, and when did you get married? How long did it take to plan your wedding?
September 27th 2023 to September 20th 2025. I started planning as soon as we returned from our engagement trip.
What suppliers did you book first? Feel free to sing their praises!

I've known you longer than you've been a professional makeup artist!
Why did you book me? Did you consider doing your own makeup?
I would never have done my own makeup. You were my only choice!
How did you find your trial makeup appointment with me?
It was super fun. You knew exactly how to make me beautiful!
Would you have changed anything about your wedding makeup?
Nope! It was perfect!
Any advice for someone else getting married?
Make your wedding your own! Don't do any traditions or superstitions you don't want to. Remember it's your day.
