Wedding Make Up Interview with: Brogan

Brogan and Mike did their "I dos!" in October 2024, in a gorgeous autumnally styled Donington Park Farmhouse. She got in touch with me in May 2024 after seeing my makeup on a mutual client of her hairdresser.
When did you get engaged, and when did you get married? How long did it take to plan your wedding?
Engaged May 2022, two years of planning!
What suppliers did you book first? Feel free to sing their praises!
Venue first! Then Fabio, our photographer, not long after
How did you find me to book me? e.g. Google, social media, recommendation etc.
I saw photos of you doing someone else's wedding that I knew, and it looked fab!
Why did you book me? Did you consider doing your own makeup?
I booked you so that my makeup was one less thing for me to stress about on the day, there was no way I could have done it myself without a tantrum
How did you find your trial makeup appointment with me?
So much fun! Really easy, I felt comfortable asking for what I wanted and we had a real giggle
Would you have changed anything about your wedding makeup?
I wouldn't have changed anything about the makeup you did for me! I wish I'd remembered to reapply my lipstick during the day, but that's user error 😂
Any advice for someone else getting married?
You'll never really know how a makeup idea will look on your face until you try it, it's your big day and you want something special, but don't be afraid to stick to the styles you know suit you.
"I am so utterly relieved that I booked Sali for my wedding. She put me instantly at ease and I felt so comfortable to be able to ask what for what I wanted, which Sali 100% delivered on. She was such a great presence all morning, being excited and hyped with us but also gently calming us down and hurrying us along when we started to fall behind schedule.
My makeup didn't move an inch all day, and all her tips and tricks helped me to maintain it and keep it looking it's best all day. Sali was also super understanding when doing my Mum's makeup, who has lots of skin sensitivities.
If I were doing it again I would hire Sali again, every time."
