Keeping Your Face Fresh On Your Wedding Day

Categories: Skincare, Weddings, Products

Your wedding day will be one of the longest days ever, and so you want and need your wedding makeup to hold up! This blog will tell you a few of the tips that will keep your face looking fresh all day and all night.

Preparation is key so before the big day, make sure you keep your skin hydrate. Hydrated skin means smooth makeup! Have a look at my skincare advice blog. Drink lots of water, use cleanser and moisturiser every day, and SPF every morning. Don’t try anything new in the four weeks before your wedding day; you don’t want to react to something! We’ll talk about your skincare at your trial, and if you’ve got any skincare questions, drop in my emails whenever you want. I’m always here to help!

On your wedding morning, I’ll be sure to moisturiser you and use a primer that suits your skin. Thin and light layers of makeup are what help longevity. We’ll use powder in strategic places and setting spray to keep things in place too. If it’s warm, we’ll do a few layers of setting spray.

You can also be assured that waterproof mascara and eyeliner are standard in my kit; as a professional makeup artist of over 14 years, I only have tried and tested products for wedding days!

I'll always include a small touch-up kit for my nearlywed to get you through the day, but you can upgrade to my Elite Touch up Kit. This is a luxury packet from me that has everything you could think of to get you through the day and well into the night! Grab yours from here.

If you've any questions about your wedding makeup longevity or want to talk about booking me for your wedding day, get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
