Perfect Silhouette shoot

Categories: Photoshoots

It was an absolute honour to be asked by Robyn to be part of her 2024 Signature Collection photoshoot, showcasing some of her most requested hair styles. She organised three models, choosing Alexis Blake, and Kennedy and Meg from zebedeetalent. We took over the gorgeous Stubton Hall for the day back in January and photographed these beautiful looks below!

For Alexis, I knew Robyn would be showcasing some stunning vintage Hollywood waves so I corresponded with a lush red matte lip, matte skin, matte eyeshadow with a real sharp slick of black eyeliner - a glam vintage look that I ADORE doing. If vintage is your thing, be it a full reproduction of a specific time period or a nod to that classic styling, I'm your gal.

To quote Robyn: "The hollywood wave is not a style for the faint hearted. They are high maintenance, not a touchable style and 99% of the time required extensions to achieve the fullness, wave definition and longevity needed. But my word, are they worth it!!"

I've been doing makeup for trans clients for a long flippin' time now, and it was a joy to be the first makeup artist Alexis has ever trusted with her face. To have her smile in the mirror after I'd finished and nearly cry (punch those tears back in!) was a lovely moment (apart from the tears!) and I'll never not love helping my trans clients feel like their very best selves.

Being blonde and fair, and knowing Amy from BellaMe had some luuuuuuush sparkly dresses for Kennedy, I wanted to get proper sparkly and go for full on princess vibes for her makeup. I was wanting rose gold sparkly eyeshadow and a nude matte lip - let the eyes do the talking! I love me some eyeshadow sparkles on wedding makeup; let’s get them all sparkly and make your other half’s eyes pop out of their head when you get down the aisle to them!

Robyn: "I went for a set of floral pins for the first look to keep the soft look, then the 2nd dress we switched it up for a sparkle beaded headband and pearl pins to mimic the dress detail."

Princess vibes, is a go! I love this delicate bouquet too.

Robyn was doing a super sleek bun for Meg, and wearing a show stopping dress with feather detailing. I did my signature smoky eye in silver, packing in a super shimmery pigment so we could bring a little more drama to her look with a waterline in black for added smoulder. Having incredible full lips, I keep Meg's lips simple with a glossy nude.

Robyn: "As styles get cleaner and smoother this year, I am excited to be styling more smooth, sleek buns like this one. It's a classic, yet modern style and one where you wont have to be worrying what your hair is doing all day! You can have face framing pieces to soften the front or wear it like Meg and rock that clean fronted look"

This is about as full glam as Ms Moo gets. I'm not one for super thick makeup, or overly contoured faces; it's just not my bag! Let me work with the incredible features you've got and I'll have you feeling like a million bucks in no time at all.

Here's the team for this incredible shoot! It was such a wonderful day to spend time with them all, and wonderful to be asked by Robyn of Perfect Silhouette Hair to be a part of her signature collection for 2024. She's one of my recommended suppliers too!
