Hey guys :) I'll be making a proper update over the weekend when I've chance to sit still but I wanted to update about this now and separately.
My friends Paul and Ruth’s daughter Elin was born on the 22nd of July 2008. Whilst Ruth was in labour Elin suffered a catastrophic lack of oxygen to the brain and has subsequently sustained severe brain damage (Cerebral Palsy) resulting in her being profoundly and irreversibly disabled. Elin cannot walk, talk or move her limbs independently and is fed by a tube in her stomach. As the lack of oxygen affected the cortex at the back of her brain she is also visually impaired.
Elin is such a beautiful little girl whose smile could light up any room. This however is something her parents didn't see for 9 months. Thanks to stimulation with light touch and sound (the squeak of a toy chicken) Elin cracked her first 'Elvis' smile. Elin responds brilliantly to light, sound and physical contact and her parents are trying to maximise her exposure to the latest equipment and toys in these areas to aid her development and also her enjoyment.
Ruth and Elin's friend Dave is about to undertake an incredible bike journey from Canada to Mexico, along the Great Divide Bike Route (which is about 3000 miles!) all in the name of Elin to kit her out with a sensory room, which will benefit and enhance her life no end :)
To donate and see where and what Dave is up to, please visit his website below. You can also read Ruth’s journal about being a parent of a child with Cerebral Palsy on the second link. All donations are very gratefully received, and all will be rewarded with smiles from Elin.

Phew, busy few months! Lots of new photos updated in my gallery if you’d like to check them out. Also like to draw your attention to a couple of things; A film I recently worked on ‘The Office Orphan’ has been nominated in the
Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival in the Short Film category! This is some fantastic news for
Loonatiks and Drinks who made the film, and I’m very privileged to have been a part of it. The competition in the category is incredible, with one starring
Celia Imrie and
John Henshaw and another
Robert Pattinson! I’ll announce further information when I have it, but looks like I’ll be going down to London to see its premier screening. Very exciting!
Possibly the best news by far is that I’ve managed to enrol on my college course! I’m so happy to have finally been able to do this, and take my first steps back into education, not to mention taking my first steps to getting one of my new year’s resolutions completed! Woohoo! The list of people I have managed to “complete” on
Model Mayhem is starting to creep up, and hope to work with many more over the summer.
Some sad news on my part that this weekend will be the last shoot I get to work with the sensational
Aisling Grace for a very long time before she moves to Canada to seek her fortune and make her mark on the world. I can’t tell you how proud I am of her for making this leap across the pond, and in the same breath how sad I am to know I won’t see her for such a long while. She’s one of the most genuine and beautiful models I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and an absolute gem of a person to boot. I wish her all the luck in the world, with all the love in my heart.

Happy Easter everyone! I hope everyone has something fun and interesting to do this weekend, and takes a well earned break :)
So, the first three months of the year are over and I've been so very busy, it's been great! I've already managed to work with 11 off my
models,
photographers, and
stylist/designers lists from
Model Mayhem and feel very lucky to have been able to do so. Thank you to everyone that I've worked with; it's been an honour. I've done a mini update of my work in the 2010 gallery and will have many more to show you soon.
Also wanted to point you in the direction of my
Twitter account; I've been signed up for a while but only recently took note of it, and now I'm addicted! Come say hello!
Should you happen to be on the lists or want to work with me, drop me a line and we'll talk business! Is everyone else as excited for Spring and Summer as I am?!

So welcome to my new site! I'd like to start off by giving a big two thumbs up and a massive thank you to Claire Meese of
Monkey Perch Studios and
Cymbiant Hosting for building this site and being so understanding with my fiddley little drawings and plentiful emails asking if the silliest things are possible (which of course they are, if you are Claire!). I would instantly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a site to be built.
So then, with the start of 2010 being not all that long ago, I guess I should give a few of my New Years resolutions as a written reminder for me if anything!
I would like to start my college education this year. This has been a bug bear of mine for at least 18 months now but various different things have meant that I've not been able to dedicate the time needed to college and gaining a qualification. I hope to at least have made a start in education before this year is over.
I've been through my
Model Mayhem friends list and created some lists of models, photographers and clothing designers/stylists that I would like to work with in 2010. Some of the people on these may seem a ambitious but it's good to have something to work towards. So if you are on there, and would like to set something up sometime please do let me know!
