My name is Sali and I’m a Nottingham based make-up artist; I’ve been working in make-up since 2007 and am qualified with a Distinction in Beauty Make-up Professional Level 3. I'm happy to undertake all aspects of make-up work, but mainly specialise in beauty, high fashion, alternative and bridal make-up. Bridal

I’m based in Nottingham, but I’m happy to cover the East Midlands and the Wrexham/Cheshire area but please note that I am only available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I don’t have my own transport but I’m happy to visit you in your home for your trial or you’re more than happy to come to me for tea and cake. I do request that all transport costs are covered.

Whilst you can see from my main body of work that I do have a love affair with colour, I’m able to cover your needs, be it giving you a beautiful natural look or something a little more glamorous for your special day. If you’d rather do your own make-up for your wedding but don’t know where to start, I’m also available for one-to-one lessons to guide you in application and products to keep you looking fresh all day and well into the night.

Flashes and Lashes

Joint venture between Ms Moo Make Up and Miss Rain Photography - with over 10 years combined experience, we’ve been widely published and come highly recommended by regular customers and our clients whom we have worked with. Specialising in shoots themed around burlesque boudoirs, alternative fashion, beauty and pin-up work, we’ve a wide portfolio and range of references available, from designers, stylists, models and magazines.

Whether you want a photo shoot to boost your confidence (lost weight? new haircut?), as a sultry pre-wedding boudoir shoot for your fiancé (cheeky!), to start building a modelling portfolio or for the best reason of all; just because! Flashes and Lashes are able to create what you need with ease. Having known each other for over 5 years, we work exceptionally well together and take great pride in our reputation as friendly, down to earth, encouraging and fun to work with ladies! We’ll do our utmost to ensure you enjoy your day, are comfortable and bring out the very best in you for your photos. Shoots can be arranged of an evening in Nottingham or at weekends; we’re both happy to travel and we're just as comfortable on location or in the studio.

Photoshoots

I’m happy to travel to wherever required but I will ask that my expenses are covered unless I have contacted you. I do not have my own transport but I hold a valid passport and Young Persons Railcard. I am ONLY available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; asking if I can shoot with you on other days would be wasting everyone’s time. I’m available to work on week day evenings though (in Nottingham and surrounding areas), but I'm only free after 6pm.

I do special rates for all students in the East Midlands and those involved in Apocalypse Girls, so please mention this to me. I do TF* depending on the idea, the creative team involved and how it will benefit my portfolio but want to do this by working with photographers/models/stylists that I have long admired.
